project overview
Message From Earth is a sustainability-driven campaign created for the collaboration between Klean Kanteen and National Geographic. The project reframes plastic pollution through the metaphor of a “message in a bottle,” imagining nature returning our waste back to us through oceans, forests, cities, and glaciers. The campaign combines cinematic storytelling, environmental data, and digital experiences to highlight the long-term impact of single-use plastic and encourage a shift toward durable, reusable alternatives. Through a series of short films, a story-led landing page, infographic design, and interactive content, the project transforms a reusable bottle into a symbol of responsibility, awareness, and conscious action. Designed as a low-impact, digital-first campaign, the project explores how emotional storytelling and sustainable communication can work together to create behavioural change while staying aligned with environmental values.
